Kitsune are supernatural fox spirits from Japanese folklore. In said folklore, they are depicted as swift and cunning tricksters who often lead humans astray; oddly enough, kitsune are also often considered to be symbols of good luck and fortune. For this illustration, I wanted to capture the whimsy of these mythical creatures.
